Very good is appropriate
The glossy black finish looks to have permanent smudges on it almost like a lighter got to close to it on several spots. But it works extremely well and even though the one that I received didn't have the second stainless grate but the default Non Stick grate will suffice for most grilling items. A waste of money
This is worse than The George Foreman grill, this grill comes no where close to using a outdoor grill, do yourself a favor do not waste your money on this item if I could put a value on this product I would say is no more than $20 , it does not live up to its hype . The infra red is intense on your eyes, it’s almost unbearable, it is smokeless, the grease drips into the removable drip pan , it is easy to clean, but so is the George Foreman grill and for way less money. Philips grill takes longer to cook and heat up and it dries out the food. I give it a negative 5 stars .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Smokeless cooking ... easy cleanup
Philips Avance 1660W Infrared Indoor Grill - sets up easily, cleans up easily... in between, you cook in the kitchen, no smoke, little smell, no grease... your food tastes like it was grilled over charcoal outdoors. Two parts, the grill and the drip pan... both clean easily in the sink or the dishwasher... Nice easy clean and fast cooker
Works as advertised. Does a nice job of cooking but happens on some foods so fast that you gotta watch. Only gripe is the brightness of the unit. Hard to keep an eye on the food being the lamps are so bright, but found a simple solution is to put unit on warm mode for the check the back to cook. And yes it not "smoke free". there's gonna be some but not as bad as the griddle type. Even the so called "smoke Free" thats advertised on TV is not but looks like in a 10000 sq Ft room with lighting that masked the smoke. Philips Smoke-less Indoor Grill
I first saw this product being used in the new "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" Netflix series. After I cooked a steak on it , I loved it. Then I grilled vegetables and they turned out really good, too. You can watch the cooking so it's easy not to overcook food. So far, just like the literature describes, good cooking, no fuss, no muss.
Have cooked Salmon indoors, with virtually no odor at all. Burgers came out great, just like the backyard grill would make. Cleanup is as the book explains, wipe with a damp napkin. We put some foil over the drip tray at first, as was not sure if there would be any drippings. When finished, the foil was clean, no drippings. All in all, it might replace our big backyard grill, which was always a pain to use. Carry the food out there, than have to be around to watch it, than when done, bring the cooked food back in the house, and clean up was a chore. I'm glad I have it and I highly recommend it and it is about as smokeless as you could expect.

Great easy cleanup grill
It works great. It grills it just like your outdoor grill does. It is also easy to clean both outside and inside. The grill wipes off without any hard scrubbing. Phillips indoor grill..
Saw the grill on tv... it looked to good to be true..
