Good product and value.
Purchased this to replace one that had broken. Very pleased with the fact that I don't have to check the device to see if it had reached temperature. Instead, I can use the app that tells me the temperature as it rises and alerts me when it has reached the set temperature. We use this on our Weber BBQ for joints pf meat and it works very well. We also use it on our AGA. We tend to set the cooking temperature 5 degrees lower than recommended, as the meat will continue to cook after it is removed from the BBQ/oven. Easy to set up using the app. Screen could be a bit brighter or have adjustable brightness. I used it on a sunny day and it was a bit tricky to see the read out sometimes. Poor bluetooth conection.
Good quality and does what it says on the box. The only complaint I have is the bluetooth signal states a range of 50 feet, this is only valid with line of sight. If I sit in my kitchen 15 feet from the unit I have to leave my phone by the door or the signal drops setting off a very annoying alarm which defeats the object of having bluetooth in the first place.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
