David Gelb's vision is genius
This is what started Gelb's incredible vision into the world of chefs and their incomparable food around the globe. His Chef's Table series (Netflix) is just about the best that a documentary can get in that genre. Jiro's story is mesmerizing and the journey into the world of sushi, picking out the fish, preparing it to Jiro's standards and Jiro's passion for the craft is hard to equal unless it would be the with the chefs in his Netflix series. And to know that Jiro's dream is a legacy he'll leave for future generations to carry forward has got to make many people very happy.
