Great screen size and battery life
On the whole a very good phone and reasonably priced for the size of the phone. Fairly easy to set up. I had a noklia lumia 520 before and wanted a similar phone with a bigger screen. The only disadvantages for me is that the text message alert tone has to be set individually on all contacts stored in the phone. If you receive a text from somebody outside of your contact list, it would be silent. Also, it takes far too long to charge up, you need to gauge it properly so that you can charge it when you have time on your hands, mine takes just over 6 hours. I am really happy I could still find a lumia.. I just love the Windows Phone even thought it cant have all the apps the Android can have..But I dont mind.. the main apps are available.. The setup has taken a while as it was still having the old Windows on but i have manages to get Windows 10 on the phone... I had some problems transfering all my data from the old hone , but that might just be me... I have to say that is not extremely quick, compared with the Galaxy J7 from my daughter.. but we also have to consider that the price of this phone is half.. so price quality it is very good.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Microsoft keeping up to date in a competitive market
I upgraded from a Lumia 520 and I am pleased with the result. The "cloud" made transfer of data from old to new phone very easy. The bigger screen is important and easier to read and use. Good phone
I had a 640 before but got the 640XL as it has a better camera although the phone is slightly bigger. I like the fact that it is a windows phone and can sync and backup all my data and calender. Good value for money
I bought this phone to enable me to have two identical phones - one for each mobile contract (I live in France). It arrived quickly and securely. The back case was slightly damaged, but very cheap to replace. The manual said it was a Nokia 650, although the phone is a 640, but the functions are the same. It is very easy to use. Not sure yet, seems tempramental !
I love what I can do with this phone but it does seem temperamental, such as sound goes off on its own although the volume is up, plays up in other ways too, not sure if its faulty? On the plus side I can use FB, messenger, WhatsApp, email, text, youtube, surf the web, Take & share photo's, and lots more, not sure if I can do this for this price anyone would want to buy an iPhone at 100's of pounds?
