Just what I need
I was looking for a smart watch as an extension, not replacement, for my cell phone. Every now and then I missed a call or text when I put my phone on vibration. Not anymore! I can even peep on my watch in a business meeting when a notification comes in. I can even reply a text by voice via a microphone on the watch! Since I have an iPhone my choices for a suitable smart water are limited. I don't want to spend a bunch on on an Apple Watch. I don't want to buy a China knockoff one either. Who knows what kind of nasty spyware they put in them! Pebble is a perfect fit for price and functions. It is very well-made. The wrist-band is made of silicone. It is very comfortable. One downside of silicone is that it attracts dust like crazy. But a wash under the faucet will clean it. To that end, being waterproof is another strong point of Pebble. I also like the fact that the time is always on. If you get the right watch face with good color contrast you can still see the time in ambient light. I know many followers would lament that Pebble ceased to exist after being bought by Fit-Bit. But there are still quite a number of Apps out there. Great Product
The Pebble time is a fantastic smart watch with 5 - 7 day battery life as opposed to the Android and Apple smartwatch's that last less than a day. The health tracking is the main reason I bought it. I got fed up with having to remember to start an app every time I went for a walk. The Pebble Time software automatically tracks my steps and sleep and I have it tied into Google Fit for very comprehensive fitness tracking. It works like a dream and it's all automatic which I love. I am very happy with this watch and with the vender. Even though it said he would be out until next week I received my watch at the regular scheduled time. Would I do business with him again. Great smart watch. I like the step counter and it will give details on your sleep pattern. I guess pebble sold out to another company so the built in app store doesn't really work, but if you download rebble you can still get different apps and games such as watch faces and weather apps. Pebble is Simplicity in Smartwatch Form
