  • Great/Disturbing

Some of this album is actually quite beautiful to listen to, which isn't always a description you can use for a Laibach album. Other parts are a little disturbing, particularly after watching the videos on YouTube (e.g. The Lonely Goatherd, and Going on Seventeen). Never boring though. The packaging and artwork are great as well. Not sure how often I will listen to it in the long term, but it's definitely worth a listen.

  • Simultaneously threatening, Gothic, bizarre and yet refreshingly camp.

Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer must be wondering what has happened to the World. The kitschy, syrupy sound of music transformed into something sinister and yet retaining a degree of playful nostalgic tribute to the original. Listen to it loud, preferably drunk and in a smoke filled room. With candles and a cuckoo clock !
