Reviews"Beyond this wired mix of post-punk anxiety, splintered techno elements and haunting soul samples, it’s Danny Brown’s rhyming ability that ultimately sees the LP flourish.", 4 stars out of 5 -- "ATROCITY EXHIBITION plays like a manic, mood-swinging, bullet-sweating nightmare. The songs are short, the beats are drunken and lo-fi, and dark psychedelia breaks the lava lamp via acid rock tones or gamelan clank.", "It’S a Kind of Thrilling 45 Minutes or So Holed Up in a Hotel, Hopped-Up and Hollowed Out."
Additional InformationThe Detroit rapper, assisted by producer Paul White on ten tracks, is in top grim form on his first Warp release.

  • Most underrated Hip-Hop album ever

This album is brilliant and so important in today’s world. The opening track ‘Downward spiral’ is a perfect artistic representation of what’s happening in America at the moment. Kanye West is being ridiculed and his mental deterioration being ignored. This theme of the public’s ridicule of men’s mental health appears throughout the album, but especially again on ‘Ain’t it funny’ where Danny himself is characterised as a man not taken seriously. Danny Brown is a lyrical and musical genius. This album doesn’t miss & is my favourite from 2016.
