Paul McGuigan's tricksy thriller stars Josh Hartnett as Slevin Kelevra, who arrives at his friend's New York apartment, only to find it empty. He makes himself at home, but his peace is interrupted by employees of crime lord The Boss, who mistake him for his absent friend, who owes The Boss $96,000. The Boss makes Slevin an offer: kill the son of his rival, The Rabbi, and the debt will be wiped clean. But The Rabbi soon gets hold of Slevin and makes a counter-offer.
