Great item for large gatherings
I couldn't have done without this hot plate at Christmas it really helped to keep food warm and it's self regulating. It was delivered really quickly and was very easy to set up and operate. The individual sections store well in the fridge and are deep enough to feed 14 people plus which is the number of guests we had. Buffet server
Bought this buffet server in anticipation of having 14 people for Christmas dinner. We bought the version with 3 x 2.5l dishes which is the largest I had seen. The main reason was for keeping the brussels, carrots and peas hot, and there was plenty of room with some leftovers (or space for more food). We got the veg ready about an hour in advance of serving up, and it stayed very hot. We used the stainless steel trays to serve straight to the table which maintained the heat. Large sections and it does the job
One of the reasons I chose this one against others was the size of the three sections - these are large and ideal for putting the food in to keep hot prior to serving. I felt some of the others were only large enough to keep some left-overs warm. It's very neat. We didn't use it as much as we'd expected over the Christmas period but it was good to know we had it when we needed it. Useful at Christmas
