An air suspension (Airride) consists of air beams and suitable shock absorbers that have been developed and tailored to the respective vehicle model. The standard steel springs are replaced by suitable air balls. The vehicle reaches its maximum height in fully inflated air back. The more air is drained from the bellows, the lower the total height of the vehicle. The air flows in the individual shock absorbers are controlled via magnetic valves that are electronically controlled. The air supply is regulated by an air tank that is filled / emptied by a compressor. The vehicle height (high or low) can be set comfortably and continuously from the vehicle inside.
