In 1949 the model F15 was released, which was equipped with a water -cooled single -cylinder diesel engine from MWM. The tractor also had a ZF gear with four forwards and a reverse gear. The revised version F15G was launched a year later. The gear developed by Fendt was new to this, which, instead of the previous 4 forward and a reverse gear, could also be equipped with an 8 forward and 2 reverse gear. In addition, the front axle was reinforced and the wheel hubs of the front wheels are encapsulated. The round hood shape, which was implemented with the introduction of the F15, was retained until the end of production of the diesel ports in 1958. In the construction period from 1949 to 1957, 15,071 diesel ports were sold. In 1997 the family business was taken over by the American group AGCO.
