The M9 is a SUPERB upgrade for an M7, but not an M8.
The HTC One M9 has a few great features that I wanted (so I bought a used one to upgrade for $270), including much faster processor and screen speed, much higher rez camera, and a newer version of Android. The downside: the screen color is not accurate, nor is the camera; the M8 produces a warmer picture and more accurate (I shot same scene from both and viewed on PC in Photoshop). Tiniest bit smaller than the M8 in the hand, the M9 is not worth paying full price for this phone if you are upgrading from an M8 (I suggest switching to Samsung if you want brand new and a big leap), but buying a used one in excellent condition at less than half price is good value, especially if you still have an M7 in use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Much faster than my LG, battery is a little better, supper clean for being used.
Like the fact you can get up to 128 gig of storage on a small device. Makes it nice when traveling so you can take movies, etc. Be-aware that the SIM is a nano sized SIM, you may have to take it in to Verizon to get it exchanged- usually free. Most newer phones already are nano SIMs. Always liked HTC interfaces that's why I'm getting an HTC again. LG interface is ok. So far, great phone for the price. Nice Smartphone
The HTC One M9 is a good smartphone. We changed carriers and I bought a 2nd one for the new carrier. It's a couple generations old but HTC does a great job with updates. Great phone
I have had my eye on the m9 for sometime. I looked into the m10, but the specs had gotten worse! So decided to stick with the 9. It has an AMAZING 20MP camera which I love since most phone don't have that anymore, quality keeps lowering. The metal exterior was also mandatory, drops don't harm the phone like the previous Samsung Galaxy phones I had, one drop done. It's fast, doesn't freeze, and has great response time.
