quite effective with itchy dogs
I normally use Malcetic wipes but these are unavailable at the moment so i thought i would try these. My basset hound cross gets very itchy skin-i think caused by pollen and grass. the vets are loathe to do tests or try medication as his coat looks so good (through all my efforts to avoid him scratching until he has bald patches). what i do now is wipe him after EVERY time he has been outside with these wipes-they are quite affective-and i give him a quarter of piriton 4 times daily. dogs can have a higher dose but he does fall asleep after them so i have worked out this doseage. both these things take the edge of the itching and give him a bit of relief. i think these are the best wipes for this.
