Not a patch on the hardback version ...
I noticed that one lucky customer received the hard back version. Mine was as described and a 'soft' cover and with a much inferior grade of paper - the pages do not look anywhere near as white as all of the other Haynes manuals I have ever owned and there have been many. Not a complaint though - just an observation! In future, I shall make sure I buy hardback (and therefore more durable) versions.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not the best
I can only speak about what I've tried, the driver's door handle had broken and needed to be replaced. If I had followed this manual I would have removed the window glass and the door security shield which would have been a nightmare to put back. It was easy to remove the handle by simply detaching the window guide. I also wanted to dismantle the door lock mechanism but no information was given. I looked at the section on the gearbox but information on repair was non existent. My summary is it is OK but inadequate.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cheap production
Soft covers and cheapest possible paper used. Not good for photos. Technical data good as far as it goes but with the complexity of these cars there is a lot of "take it to your Jaguar dealer. Old Haynes books were easier to work
Have a few old ones of the Haynes books and they are a lot clearer. Here the text refers to diagrams and pictures on other pages, making it more confusing than the old approach the Haynes books had.
