Very disappointing condition. It was described as very good.
Interesting contents & recipes but the book has seen stored damp for some time and clumps of pages are stuck together. The pages get damaged when you try & separate them plus some can’t be separated. So much of the book is unusable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Good condition but cover scuffed
Having been a customer of the Book People for many years I purchased this item in confidence as a gift for a friend but hadn't realised that it was only listed as 'good' condition which means that it 'has been read but is in good condition. Minimal damage to the book cover eg. scuff marks, but no holes or tears. If this is a hard cover, the dust jacket may be missing. Binding has minimal wear. The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal. No highlighting of text, no writing in the margins, and no missing pages'. Sadly on this occasion the book arrived with a scuffed cover and not really suitable to give as a gift. Next time I will be a little more careful and make sure I buy 'New' when buying as a gift.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
