A book to treasure if ever there was one!
1st read as a library copy, I had to have my own. Surely (apart from trendy critics) we're all Sound of Music fans, deep down? Tom San-P gives the full story of how it came into being: the reality, the 2 German films, the Broadway show and the film. Told in a full & factual way, and as dispassionate as any total convert could be. One only hopes for a paperback version eventually, purely to cut down the weight on long journeys!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
