essential really is the word for this publication

Great if you want to be a safe driver
Unlike the Highway Code book (consisting mainly of signs or diagrams to help with theory) this book is more for the practical side of your driving. It's easy to understand and has diagrams and images too, showing you exactly how things should be done. The book covers pretty much all aspects of driving, from how to deal with an accident or injured person, to approaching mini roundabouts and changing car tyres. It's worth reading, even if you just scan through and then pass the book on. Although probably aimed at learner drivers, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants more knowledge on driving. Even if you don't drive, I'm sure you'd learn something from it! The book should only take about a week to read (if you read for about 10 mins a day) but maybe two weeks to completely get your head around.
