  • Very good purchase

The 'Big Ideas' series by DK (Dorling Kindersley) is excellent in every respect. Not overly intellectual but not dumbed-down either. Perhaps best suited to a 16-17 year-old who is not sure of what subject to take at university (or which career to pursue). But certainly suitable for anyone between 14 and 104 who has an interest in the subject. This particular volume in the series is no exception - highly recommended.
