Mini kettle
The kettle has a low-rated element, so isn't the fastest to boil, although this isn't really a problem. I like that it switches off when the water boils, and that the jug itself lifts free of the base, making it easier to fill and use where you want it. The cable is quite short, which I think might be a regulation nowadays, but the jug coming free from the base stops this being a major problem. The minimum fill (0.5 litre) is more than would be needed for the average cup, so wasting energy. It's a nice-looking kettle, and is fairly small on the worktop. It's a shame that the cable can only 'point' towards the spout when it enters the base, I'd prefer it the opposite end, where the handle is.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect for a guest bedroom
I needed a small kettle for tea making facilities in a guest bedroom. I have tried this one out and as stated in previous reviews it is a little slower than more powerful models but perfectly adequate for my purpose. Does the job better than I expected
This is an 850watt kettle, which has a better performance than I expected. I bought it for use in our motorhome, when we are off-grid and using our 1000 watt inverter. It boils in around 6 1/2 minutes when full, so I guess it will boil less volume slightly quicker. It's perfect for what I need. I have reviewed it on the basis that it boils water quickly for a product that only uses a mere 850 watts. I knew from the product description that it wasn't a quick boiler, but its power consumption was correspondingly low as well; good for the electric bill and the environment. Replacement Camping Kettle
My wife and I managed to get away in the motorhome recently. First night wild camped so heat water on gas stove. Second night in a campsite with hook-up and kettle wouldn't stay switched on - only boiled by holding the 'on' switch down. This is the same size so will fit into the place it is stored. The better thing is that it is cordless so it can be taken from the dock to the cups on the table instead of the other way round. Very please with it. The kettle was delivered a few days after the date stated but that was down to the carrier, but didn't matter as we were not planning another trip. A very decent kettle that covers our nee...
A very decent kettle that covers our needs. It doesn't use a lot of electricity, which is perfect for a camper or better still, for our house in France. We initially took a kettle that was 3000 watts. Old French electrics couldn't cope for even 10 seconds. This kettle is perfect. So much so that we've bought another for our UK home.
