Liquid Chrome is one of the most innovative products from the Molotow range. This high gloss paint creates a reflective mirror like surface. Liquid Chrome paint is compatible with a variety of products and accessories. From marker pens to mops, brushes and even airbrush is possible to use. A permanent paint with good UV resistance made for both indoor and outdoor use. Protect the finish more by applying a clear varnish topcoat. This product builds a further stage of development for the paint used in the classic BURNER marker range. Best chrome paint so far
Having tried a variety of chrome paints, this is the best I've found so far. It's easy to use and gives a good covering whether you use one of the pens or an airbrush to apply it. The pens are great because there's no wastage and you can get exactly where you want it without any over spray. Whilst they work out a little expensive, I think the results make the extra cost worthwhile.

Great Reflective Properties, Looks Just Like Chrome
Great chrome look, best out there! Only drawback is the extremely high cost. I've used Alsa, Spaz Stix & Alclad II and this stuff has far better reflection and more of a real chrome look, but it is about 3 to 5 times more expensive for comparable volumes. Still cannot clear over it or it turns to a metallic silver.

Best product for chrome-like finish on plastic model kits.
A refill for the excellent Molotow chrome pen. I find this a fantastic product for getting a mirror look metal on plastic model kits. Works better than any other paint product I’ve tried.

Best chrome so far.
I bought the molotow pens previously, but they lose the chrome effect before they're empty and are then just the usual silver markers so quite a waste. I thought I would try this instead. 1 drop on a palate looks like Mercury cap then back on the bottle, applied with a small brush great chrome effect on scale model components, and this way, no dried ink or contaminants spoiling the whole bottle. A bit pricey but nothing else I have tried gives the same effect.

very good product but with limitations
Perhaps the best Chrome finish you can get out of a bottle although would not use it on a large area , best result came from an airbrush , clear coat will dull the shine tho.

Great stuff!
Best product I have found to date to replicate chrome effects with plastic models. And trust me, I have tried numerous manufacturers’ products that claim to replicate chrome effects. Nothing comes close to Molotow! I just put a small amount into a paint pallet, add some retarder/self levelling thinners and hey presto!

Answer to a modeler's prayer
Great stuff. You can airbrush it right from the bottle or fill your Molotow marking pens. The first job I did airbrushing it came out beautifully. And there's an added bonus; this chrome paint seems to be very tough (once thoroughly dry) and will not wear off with moderate use.

Great 'chrome' paint for models
great way to buy Molotow paint for airbrush use, as well as a refill. Good chrome paint, as long as you allow sufficient drying time, maybe at least 2 days? (needs experimentation). Good for touching up 'chrome' parts in kits.
