Good introduction into the elements of website development
The book introduces the reader to the main tools used to built responsive websites. Each tool: PHP, MySQL, Javascript, CSS and HTML5 is introduced separately and then explained how they work together. It also helps that all example code can be downloaded via a web link. At the start advice is given on setting up a development server MAMP etc. for local website development on one's own computer or laptop without using a paid for external website hosting setup. The last chapter gives an example for designing a basic social networking website. In the appendix the answers to set questions for each chapter are given along with information on online resources and MySQL details.
