Miller better watch out
Hands down, this machine welds beautifully in every process! Welds just as good if not better than any miller machine I've used that is comparable and at a fraction of the cost. The wire that is sent with the machine isn't some cheap wire, it's good stuff. I've never used flux core in one of these smaller machines that was worth a crap, however, this wire lays in like butter. Some of the perks that I've noticed, voltage auto sensing, where the machine takes a lot of the guess work out the set up. You're pretty much left with making fine tune adjustments. It establishes limitations depending on your voltage input. even on 120v, this machine welds crisp and flat beads. You don't get that sticky weld issue from some of the cheaper machines. Dual electric fans, internal gas flow regulator, digital settings. Perfect if you're a beginner or seasoned. I just went from being a Miller fan to a Lincoln fan in one weld session. The mig gun is really good quality as well as the stinger. My only issue is with the spool gun... this could have been designed better. It's about the only thing that feels and operates semi cheap. I do recommend using scotch bright in the nozzle to help with the shielding gas. It doesn't have very effective coverage. These things I can over look. Minor issues and even if you upgrade to a better spool gun, you're still spending less money than if you purchased a Miller. I've got 15 years Exp in the welding industry as a first class welder in a shipyard setting as well as a shop. I'm telling you that this machine is top quality!!
