Very Happy with Quality.
My new hobby is adult coloring. I am in a fixed income and use budget friendly products. I see alot of colonists use Prismacolor premiere pencils. I love the vibrancy of those pencils, however the price is a bit much for me. Then I found Prismacolor Scholar pencils. I decided to give them a try. I love these pencils. The colors are very vibrant. The lead is creamy and they don't break when sharpening like the Premiere. I was using Crayola pencils. I will still use them. My Crayola set of 60 has a few colors that the Prisma doesn't and the Crayola blend differently than the Prismacolor Scholar. For blending, I use a Prisma blending pencil, it works better with the Crayola pencils than the Prismacolor Scholar pencils. With the Prismacolor Scholar pencils I have had to blend with the pencils not the blender to get the same affect. It takes some getting used to. In spite of that I still give this product a 5 star rating because for the money I am very satisfied with this product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very pleased with the pencils and the color selection.
These are good quality and great for large color areas. If you have small areas you really need to use the Prismacolor Verithin line to get in small corners. Smooth and easy to use.

Great Product and a Great Value
If your budding artist (or you) want to move to the next level of creativity - this is a great way to go. These are not Crayolas by a long shot. Some professionals use them along with Prismacolor Artist pencils (the professional ones) and they say they really can't tell one from the other. Good pencil set
