This is a compromise mudguard so don't expect it to do all that a dedicated mudguard design can do, but it keeps the worst of spray from your back and it's light. Fitting can be a little problematic and it takes a few trials to get it right. Though this is an updated design it's one size fits all means it won't fit all (saddles) so use of an elastic band around your saddle bag helps ensure the guard won't fall off since I'm not convinced the fold up fitting design works that well (on my saddle at least). All in a good piece of kit for wet weather riding and at just over a fiver a decent investment - pity the yellow guards cost more perhaps because they have higher visibility so safer but that shouldn't impose a premium!?Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great brand, disappointing product
I was really looking forward to try ass savers product, as the brand and the product seems to be really cool. In reality it’s different; It’s easy to fit, stays under the seat, and protects the hips and butt from the water: but! All along the trousers,the leg in and out get completely wet. As the guard drops back all the water fir the rider. I would give it a try to the wider version, maybe that is better?!

Not good for spotless commuting
I wasn't aware that the normal size would be too small for my road bike. I ended up still getting wet in mildly wet ground. The item is a bit flimsy and I'm constantly worrying that it will fly away. In all fairness, I knew that. I also have the small fear that someone might grab it from me when I park my bike. In theory it works, but it is not optimised for daily commuting with a road bike.
