    Motul 8100 X-Cess 5W40 High Performance Fully Synthetic Engine Oil - 5 Litres

    Motul 8100 X-Cess 5W40 High Performance Fully Synthetic Engine Oil - 5 Litres Been using the above oil now for 14 years in my current motor, for myself given my vehicle type it has proven to be truly superb oil, very low noise even when starting cold and running hot, I have used alot of different oil types with other vehicles. The Motul 8100 X-Cess 5W40 oil over this 14 years time has never given me cause for concern and I have no significant noise or wear evident on the top cam shaft area or bottom crankshaft ends of the engine, despite my vehicle now being 15 years old. For those whom might find it useful, this oil type has been recommended on the dedicated forums for SEAT Ibiza 1.8T FR (2002 - 2008) engines, and also the Audi - VW - Golf - Polo and SKODA varients with the same petrol engine and diesel 1.9TDi engine types. As a general rule of thumb check the oil specifications do match or exceed your engines specified engine oil type and your good to go. Highly recommended
