This is a very useful device, with only one slight drawback. When the battery is low there is no indication except that the clock still runs but the device stops counting steps! There is nothing in the instructions about this and I only discovered it by chance after I'd bought a replacement unit and decided to try a new battery in the original unit.

My previous pedometer was twice the price and half the size loved it it broke this is larger more noticeable and when going up stairs it has a rattle which is annoying I should not need to know I am wearing it I thought it looked worth a try but not for me....

Hi,seems quite accurate when length of stride is entered correctly, mine varies slightly depending on foot wear or terrain am walking so have entered an average stride length.Large numerals (can see without glasses). Just carry mine in jeans pocket.Only down side is that when stationary for one minute reverts to Time Mode which is ok but have to remember to start walking mode again before setting off. May be i am missing something there. Over all well pleased quite simple & easy to use.

it's ok, it records most of your steps for a rough guideline. it's better on longer walks than short little bursts. can you expect any more from such a cheap device though...a rough guide is better than spending £50 to get a more accurate figure.
