  • Small Powerhouse of a Mixer

The instructions make sense! This little thing is a micro version of our larger Xenyx mixer. We keep this as an add-on, to mix in extra channels if we have horns sitting in, and as a micro PA mixer for smaller jobs, AND as a replacement/back-up, should the big-brother break down. The effects are just as good as the larger Xenyx units, the eq is simpler, but sounds fantastic. We use powered speakers, so this unit is just right for that. (Note: the outputs are 1/4" on this unit. If you need XLR, for powered speakers, to run longer mains cables and have quieter operation, you'll need some impedance transformers with 1/4'' inputs - to XLR outputs. If you're playing closer to your mains, 25 foot 1/4" to 1/4" audio cables will do. This mixer is small enough to fit in a briefcase or a laptop bag, with room for the power supply. It DOES have a phantom power output (48 volt) It has other features that allow you to hook up monitors. (Control room outputs) Great for home recording, live sound. Has USB output as well. Nice for the price. Get one.

  • BEST BIG/LITTLE MIXER OUT THERE!!

This is the third one I've owned, and for good reason. The 1202fx is the best little/big mixer out there...BAR NONE! They give you all the features of a full size mixer without the bulk or price. All of mine have served me flawlessly for a good 8 to 10 years before needing attention. The effects alone are worth the price, they are the most realistic i've ever seen. TOTAL QUALITY!!

  • Best mixer for small to medium gigs. A true "Play-Out" mixer.

We use a full X32 in the studio, but it is too big to take to small gigs. This unit, now available for less than $100.00, is all you need, takes all of the equipment inputs and allows us to tag on 2 QSX 12's a subwoofer and 2 monitors. It has a great FX section and is light as a feather. Big plus when lugging around everything else you have to deal with.

  • Worked great first gig

I bought this board to mix percussion mics for cajon set up. Used a little reverb for the mic on the snare side of the cajon which gave it great depth. Plenty of equalizer ability for my needs on the base mic behind the cajon and overhead cymbal high hat wind-chime mic. Used headphones to tune everything in the way I liked it at set up. Over all a great mixer for for my needs.

  • Nice little mixer!

This Behringer Xenyx 1202FX is a great little mixer for simple home mixing, or for a live single or duo act. It has 4-XLR mic inputs, all with an Input Gain, High-Mid-Low EQ, and a digital FX processor for vocal and/or instrument reverb. There are 2 more stereo input channels, though they do not have Input Gain or EQ, only FX and Level controls. Though you can use these channels for a keyboard or guitar input, as long as you have EQ on your keyboard or your guitar, and do not play to loudly. You can also use these 2 extra channels for running tracks for your single or duo. You can also use the Control Room Stereo Outputs to feed a recording device, to record your performance for live demos. I use this mixer in my keyboard-computer room, to record my classical music from my Kurzweil K 2500 to a rack mount CD recorder. Then I upload my music to my You Tube channel. It's not a super sophisticated audio set up, though it works well for what I need.

  • Great small mixer for radio

This was actually a replacement unit for the exact same model which I wore out doing my daily talk radio show. When the older unit started to show its age I looked around and could not find a better replacement than simply buying a new one.

  • Almost perfect for my needs

Sounds good works good and fits a small environment needs without issues, the 4 stars is only because unbelievably in 2020 it doesnt have an on off switch. I use it on my studio to route signal to my amp from 1 my producing PC and 2 my dj laptop soundcard.

  • The tone enhancement is awesome: sculpting sound.
