Excellent maps when you want to explore your world.
We wanted a local map to do local walks and the Ordnance Survey series of maps are always the best. OS have been making maps for a very long time. They are made in different scales so you can have as much detail as you need for your particular requirement. All bridal paths and foot ways are there as well as various boundries. This particular map is in the Explorer Series and is 4cm to 1km (2.5 inches to the mile). It contains a great deal of infomation for those exploring an area on foot. Things like parking, churches, camping sites and pubs, as well as other tourist and leisure information, are also marked for your convenience. Newly printed maps now include a mobile download code so you can also have your map on your phone or tablet. Os maps are also available in the Landranger series - 2cm to 1km and the Tour series, which have various scales and regional cover.
