Good Buy
25+ yes working as electrician, so, I 've seen my share of strippers from name brand to pure junk and I actually still have and use my original Klein strippers. The reason I purchased them is I misplaced mine and didn't find them until I ordered this one. Like any new pliers, they're a little stiff; otherwise, they do a great job cutting through the insulation without damaging the wire. I cut a few 6/32 and 8/32 screws with them and they cut the screws flush without any problem starting a nut. I feel they'll last after just a little use; although, only time will tell... These are just like my Klein's strippers. With that being said, I do NOT like the crimper! It works but requires both hands to make a good crimp. Nice tool with few flaws
By "no spring needed" I was under the impression that it had some other sort of return mechanism, but no. There is no spring, OR COIL of any kind, despite what is advertised. Additionally, this wire stripper does not strip very small wires, like the ones you would find in a data transfer cable. You have to use the wire cutter, which is hard to control, especially for very weak, thin stranded wires with very few strands (LOOKING AT YOU POSITIVE WIRES). Speaking of the wire cutter, they also have the same issue scissors have with the cutters. I can't cut heatshrink with it because the heatshrink just slips in between the blades. I mean, it cuts some of it, but the rest of it just slips between the blades. Overall, this is a well-built product. It could use a few extra cutters for smaller wires, and a tighter gap between the blades. High-quality scissors have blades that scrape against each other to ensure a sharp, clean cut every time. These wire strippers miss that mark, but the pros outweigh the cons. I would not recommend these outright, but they are better than many other wire strippers, even if they aren't the best. Great copper wire tool
Very sturdy pair of crimpers, wire cutters, and small screw shears. I have been a mechanic/electrician for over five decades and misplaced my old pair, so bought this new one that I believe is just as good as the old pair. They are not to be used as bolt cutters or for cutting cable, but used as copper wire strippers and copper wire cutters. Pretty Good Strippers
I’m an electrician and my old pair took a dump. Bought these for $8 eBay. Couldn’t be happier. They are well built, sturdy, the handle is pretty comfortable. I like these better than my old gators. Will have to buy a few more. Definitely recommend these for electrical work.

Excellent wire cutters

Good and cool
It cuts the wires very nicely and effectively but doesn't have a spring integrated into it causing the user to have to open the tool with both hands whenever cutting/crimping wires. However it does feel solid in ones and hand and gets the job done either way.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
