the title says it all
the book is basically about the ultra marines and one of there successor chapters the ultra marines hold back some info that might of helped what happened from happening but didn't resulting in chaos getting its hands on a world that the ultra marines had protected for ages at times it looks like chaos is winning then the ultra marines it see saws a lot a few surprises along the way leave you expecting certain outcomes that don't always go the way you think
