Xperia XA1 Ultra FOR THE WIN
This phone has it all! Super fast, sleek and stylish. Bought for my husband because he cracked the screen on his LG V20 and it was getting glitchy after only having it for a year. We didn’t really like the T-mobile branded phones available, and have always loved Sony products. Did some research and came across this MONSTER. Price was a bargain (approx. $200 US) as compared to the features it had. 23 MP camera! I have owned a Sony DSC-W290 camera for about 7 years, and it has NEVER given me any trouble. So I knew this phone camera would be great and it did not disappoint. All of the T-Mobile carrier apps we use can be downloaded from play store. Phone has Android 7.0 already. Customizable home screens, icons, & widgets. Screen size is a big & bold 6.0”. Purchased a LoveMei aluminum case for it, and now IT IS HUGE. Still slides into a back pocket though! If you have a rough-on-devices husband, you should consider this phone and the LoveMei case together! I shouldn’t have to worry about a phone purchase for a while. The technology in this phone will be comparable even a couple years down the road. And with the protection that phone case offers, it should live to see that day! After a week with a Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra...
The phone was an easy set up... Sony has many additional add-on features I like... The phone is surprisingly fast... It seems to be flying under the radar... Go ahead, buy your iPhones or Samsung's and pay through the wazoo for them... Believe me they aren't any better than my Xperia... Whether it's cruising the net, making phone calls, doing on line searches or taking pictures, the phone performs amazingly... Amazing phone for the price
These phones are great phones for the price. The camera is probably the worst specification, however, as it tends to sharpen images too much, and is hard to get a clear shot without seeing blurriness. However, everything else about this device is awesome. I will warn you, once you get one, you'll have to do about 6+ Android updates unfortunately. Because this uses Sony's manipulated version of Android, it's hard to get all of the updates done in one go. But once you have them done, it's an amazing phone for the price. Its a BIG phone! Its in phablet territory the screen image quality is better than average with ips technology.The battery life 2900mah is decent for a phone of this as size . The camera is a super 23 mp that is sharp and vivid I would put this against the Samsung S7 any day and Im not just saying this the colors of the image are vivid and sharp with little noise, the gray scale is decent! I looked at many in hand before making a decision.The call quality is very good with ample signal strength the speaker phone is super loud and clear! Playing videos are very sharp and enjoyable to view as well as multimedia earphones music nice bright screen.The Octacore processesor is snappy with apps and speed with ease! I ordered the Sony Xperia xA1 Ultra, it was supposed to arrive with scuffs on the back but the scuffs ended up being sticky residue on the back. It just wiped off with a damp cloth, all good. Also if you're hesitant on getting this phone cause of the battery life, don't be.
