Great little lens.
Extremely light. This is one of the newer designed lenses that don't have an external manual/auto focus or vr toggle. Instead, you can turn them off and on through the interface. Be sure your camera body is compatible before purchasing, this one only works with some of the newer bodies.

the AF-P "pulsed motor" focus system rocks!!!!!!!!!!!
the AF-P "pulsed motor" focus system rocks!!!!!!!!!!! this lens focuses so fast, you cant hardly keep track of when it happens. This "kit lens" is underestimated and you cannot beat the price, ultra cheap!!!!!!!! you can see a demo of how thid lens stacks up against the AF-S "stepped motor" focus sytem here at 5:10 on the video titled "Let's Try It! | New Nikon AF-P 18-55mm vs AF-S 18-55mm" on the u-toob. I highly recommend this lens.
