    Here phone, beat this!

I am forever running around. Be since getting hurt and becoming "disabled" , if that's what you want to call it, and now i can't work I get all the hunt, fetch, do this, do that errands anyone can possibly come up with. Friends, family, wife, daughter, no one will hesitate to ask me to run an errand for them. I need to set a flat rate and start charging, really! Well I carried 3 portable 5,000 mAh batteries with me to charge my phone some my 12 volt plug in truck doesn't work and Google Assistant stays on when I'm driving and screen stays lot as long as my Bluetooth headset is connected. Well, I purchased one of these and a 10 ft. 3ma cord for my truck and all I have to do is plug it in and it's fully charged in under 30 minutes. What's more is the 20 holy Dealt battery fully charged my phone, and I have a brand be one with a 4,000 mAh battery, up to 5 times from next door to dead. I mean the last nail was hanging out the side of its coffin and falling out. So this thing has been nothing short of miraculous I'm my book. Yes I realize it's a phone and not a cure for cancer. But when your ad attached to this stuff as I am, well it's a miracle. Just accept it and don't argue. That all said, if you use the 20 volt DeWalt tools them you have the batteries. If you have the batteries there is no reason for you not to use one of these and try it out. It's very reasonable priced. It performs outstandingly and after a couple times you will understand why I don't leave without one. Actually I can't unless I make it a point to. It lives in my truck 24/7. I'm going to have to buy a extra one for when my truck is elsewhere, without me in it. No it's not possessed, my 17 year old daughter lives driving "Daddies Truck"! How dare you wanting to commit me saying I thought my truck could run off by itself! You seem paranoid. I have the number of a good mental health facility if you're interested. No, no , no, I don't think less of you. It's ok, we can talk later, when there aren't so many people listening! Lmbo, well that was fun! No really people. This thing is awesome. V get one, you will LOVE it!

    Not what i was needing.

You can't tell in the photos. But this part does NOT work in the heated jacket. It looks exactly like the jacket adapter but doesn't have the socket for the plug. And the socket is on the opposite side of what they show in the photo. I'm not sure but I think they intentionally don't show the other side. You can get USB phone chargers far cheaper than buying this part AND a $75 battery, plus it's very clunky. The part I needed for the jacket does have the two USB ports also. And, no, you cannot add the port because there are six components missing from the printed circuit board internally. I have already compared them. So be aware this is ONLY for CHARGING. I have found that, all of these listings are the same. The part number is one number off. If you are looking for the coat adapter, the part number you need is DCB091, NOT DCB090

  • Dewalt 20v USB Converter

Works well. Very convenient to be able to charge my phone or any accessories via one of my Dewalt batteries. Will be a great asset to have in the event of a prolonged power outage. And the built-in LED flashlight is super bright. My only reservation is that the converter doesn’t exactly lock onto the battery. It just basically slides onto it with a good amount of resistance due to the shape. Overall, a good product for a great price.

  • Initial fit not compatible with DeWALT Battery

Product is great tool and great value. But initially would not attach to DeWALT 20V battery as advertised. After forcing it in place near the point of breaking it, it attached to the battery more easily, but not as easy as it should. Both units worked the same and neither unit broke when forcing it on the battery the first time. Both units continue to work, once "broken-in". BTW, not many people would have forced it the first time.

  • 5 star - USB Mobile Battery Charger Adapter For Dewalt 14.4V 12V 20V Slide DCB090

This is a great product. use for 2 USB ports into a battery backup. I Have a 5 Dewalt battery That I have attached it. Works and last many days with the 3 LED light on the top for night use. My phone battery has issues and not able to get phone company to replace it. Put this into the phone and charger. If your battery on the phone is not going it works great. Would love to have another. It has other uses also but not got around to it. For the use I wanted it it works great and out of 5 stars it rates a wonderful 10 Stars.

  • Love it.

20v Dewalt Battery to USB adapter works great. Charges my phones and tablets up with no major issues. The one small problem I had was the top with the battery level indicator, the label keeps falling off which exposed the internal components. I had to glue that plastic piece back on.

  • which do you have more... time or money?!

so if you have looked at the real Dewalt version of this, you know it goes for about $40. this unit is a 1/4 of that so what do you give up for the cheaper unit? 1. fit - the real dewalt slides on the battery units perfectly like the tools do. this unit requires more force and wiggling around to make it slide on the battery. i suppose if it was a really big deal i could sand down areas until it fit right but i just force it in and it works. 2. build quality - the fit is part of it as it is not quite the right size but the top where the LEDs for the light and the battery level are is glued on and it separates at the LED switch... in time this will come all the way off and you will have to glue it back. when i push down the separated area it sticks for a while but then the light is permanently on too! so i let the area by the switch just be separated. in time dust will get in there and i will have to fix the switch but hey its a lot cheaper. it would not have taken much time to get this thing right on but clearly the makers didn't give a guano so here we are. if you are handy, buy it. it is usable and in fact once working it works well... and you are likely to have to repair or adjust it a bit. if you have more time than money, get this... if you want reliability and have more money than time, buy the Dewalt. Cheers :-)

  • Not what I was hoping for.

I am going on a hunting trip to Colorado. We won’t have electricity for about12 days. I was hoping to take a Dewalt battery and be able to keep my phone charged. With this device I am only able to charge my IPhone less than 3 times. That doesn’t seem like very much seeing that I can run my tools for a very long time on a full battery charge. It would be ok if you were able to charge the dewalt battery fairly often.

  • Great product

I have used it for about 1 month and it has worked great. I fly for my job and I have to pack my lithium batteries in my carry on. I used to bring a seperate power source to charge my phone and tablet on the plane. This has replaced that and it workes 10 times better. I could get 1 maybe 2 out on the other charger, with the dewalt power source I use a 5 amp battery. I dont know how many charges I get because i have never used the the entire charge yet. 2 charges of a phone and 2 charges for my tablet and still 2 bars on the battery.
