Brilliant bit of kit
This is a great little hard drive enclosure i bought to replace an old one that fell apart. I only use it to play videos from through my non smart tv. Although my tv is only usb 2.0, this is way quicker than my previous enclosure which supposedly supported usb 3.0 as well. Also looks pretty stylish especially in the dark when the leds light up the whole case. Highly recommended.

Backward compatible with USB2 also does USB 3 and UASP
Unlike one of its competitors this one also works with USB 2 and with USB 3 controllers that don't support USB Attached SCSI Protocol (UASP). It also works with USB 3 controllers that do support USB Attached SCSI Protocol to give higher speeds. Nice short thick USB cable with it I like the transparent box too It just worked, no set up needed. Did need to update drivers on one USB 3 controller to get UASP
