Awesome movie
Movie critics are wrong in the assessment of this movie. It deals with a historical battle, considered to be among the top 10 most important military encounters in the history of mankind. It does not deviate from the actual events and still manages to be informative and entertaining at the same time. Great cinematography and action packed battle scenes. A must for any movie collector of action and adventure thriller movies.

this picture is a compact view of the great seige of Vennia the picture mostly focuses on a monk and the leader of the Ottoman forces. it gives you the general details of the seige, but does not show you much of the besieged lives in the city trying to hold it against the Ottoman forces.

A little known part of european christian history. This is why radical muslims waited until 318 years later to get back at us. Sad, but it shows that some people can carry a grudge for centuries - but then they are not the only ones.

Fits in with the narrative
Decent film depicting the Poles saving Vienna from the Turks in 1683. The irony is that about 50 years later the Austrians were at the table dividing up Poland.
