A worthwhile extension of the relevant ScanSnap scanners
Well made and does the job reasonably well of making an A3 image by your folding the original in half and linking the two A4 images. But, reasonably good is not a perfect result. It is also useful to protect anything precious or fragile that might be damaged going through the machine. Definitely worth having if you want to scan anything aside from sturdy sheets A4 or just short of that size.
