Canon Pixma Pro 100 real tests
I love this printer. Whether is is in Back and White or color these prints are an artwork unto themselves. I shot a photo of a 16th Century Cannon replica being fired from a local archeological park and captured a photo showing the lit fuse and the gunpowder literally rolling out the barrel of the canon on fire. Using my Iphone 6S phone camera in burst mode. The 11.5" x 8" photo is so detailed it looks like the photo is on fire as well. The costume of the canoneer is crisp and detailed and the light blue sky and water background is as crisp and clear as if you were shooting it or watching it yourself. A Black and White Photo of a train taken in 1902 looks as if it could step off the photo and tke you anywhere. Although not super fast, the quality of this printer using Kodak Photo Paper is a s good as anyone's and I am super critical of my prints. It surpasses even dye sublimation printing for the finished result. At the current selling price given you can do 13" x 19" prints...I'm sold! You will be as well. Follow the instructions for setup and if you know anything at all about setting up computer equipment, You will accomplish it in less than 15 minutes and the joy of your project prints will come to life.!

Worth every penny.
It's not better than I expected, but it is a great printer. My aging pro9000 was great too but I whated to get the Pro100 while I still could. The black and white prints are far superior with the pro100 than the 9000. My only minor negative was that it shipped without a power cord. The print head needed to be cleaned,no big deal, and I was surprised it had a full set of inks. All in all A GREAT PURCHASE !Verified purchase: Yes
