Fantastic fitness watch and a nice watch for everyday use too!

i use this watch a lot i use it for swimming twice a week, step aerobics and walking the dog the battery last a week my only grip is the watch and phone do not stay connected with each other unless they are very close so leave a room and they disconnect and instead of reconnecting them self you have to keep doing it manually but for me that is not to much of an issue as i did not buy it for that reason i brought it for the swimming app on it as it tells you average strokes per min then you just divide that between the pool length it also does indoor and outdoor walking and running can sometimes take about 2 mins for it to get GPS when outside but worth the wait as when you connect to the laptop it shows you a map of where you have run or walked, I use to own a microsoft band which was very good but could not take that swimming so very impressed with this watch,Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lightweight and good quality
The vivoactive has some great features. Used as my daily step counter, it motivates me to move more. GPS feature: great for mapping walks/distance. Easy to use and setup. The watch may look 'fragile', but I think it is very robust. Battery life good when used as a daily step counter but obviously when using GPS, battery life is reduced. Charges quickly. I would like Garmin to update its software and to be able to post my daily steps to FitBit to enter the 'daily challenge' from friends and family.
