Why 4 star
My opinion is biased in that the strings are well made, are good value and sound good. My problem is that, being light, they go out of tune when being fretted on all but the lowest of action. (I have a Freshman FA400.) It's that, or I am just kack-handed and it's me. I'm prepared to believe either.

Does What it Says on the Tin
Purchased these strings for a Crafter Convoy FM I am reconditioning. Although primarily a bass player I also dabble in rhythm guitar and these strings are perfect for that. They also bend well for soloing without being too light.

Ernie Ball Slinky guitar strings
I bought the 10s as I was finding the 9s a bit too thin and if you fretted a note too hard it went sharp. The 10s are just right and you can still create a good bend but best of all is the improved tone on my Epiphone Casino Coupe - well pleased Ernie.
