Rand Mcnally Truck GPS
This is the first GPS I have owned of any kind. I have used my sons which is a very basic unit. It is working very well so far. Because it is designed for the average trucker, it has many great features like weigh station warnings, reduced speed warnings, bridge weight warnings, etc. My favorite is the ability to save trips for future use. It would have been nice if Rand included actual step by step instructions. What is provided in the box AND what is found online is merely overviews - nothing specific concerning what or how each button works. A lot of OJT and trial and error. Truckers GPS

The worst electronic device I ever used

The only problem I was having with the device was. After I got it out of the box the Rand McNally Dock would not install keep asking me to connect my device. Which was connected into the computer. So I unplug it and boot it up using a power outlet. After I did that, I Replug the device back into the computer. Finally the software was installed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

should of bought a garmin
first off the power cord is bad... so it wouldn't work. once I got it to work. the screen is too small and it didn't come with directions. I would send it back but t is a refurbished unit... and Ive used it several times and had trouble understanding how to...
