It has an internal enclosure and it offers TRIM support, which helps reduce write times to the drive allowing you to save information faster and prolongs the life the drive. It's featuring Intel Smart Response Technology (ISRT), which allows you to configure your computer system with an SSD used as cache memory between the hard disk drive and system memory. The ISRT works by monitoring which programs and files you access most frequently and stores them on the SSD. It also supports Power Shield to prevent data loss during a sudden power outage. Worked Where Another Had Failed
After the failure of another name-branded M.2 SSD to work in my Chromebook, I bought a Transcend of the same capacity (256 GB). I am still awaiting an RMA from that other manufacturer, so as a consequence I will not be buying additional units from them. This SSD works flawlessly in my Acer CB5-571 Chromebook
There appeared to be some issue with Transcend SSD in Chromebooks running Crouton which required a workaround involving some settings for SATA power management in the ChromeOS. However there is no such issue now that my Chromebook is running both Windows 10 and GalliumOS, or Ubuntu. Highly recommended.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Нормальный ссд, но есть нюанс
При покупке ценник был 6000 рублей. С копейками. При оплате сняли 6300 рублей с копейками. Заказывал диск TS256GMTS400. Пришел TS256GMTS400S. Этим я не доволен. Везде в описаниях диск, который пришел, имеет маленькую скорость записи (160Мбит/с). Но, проверив в CrystallDiskMark, получил хорошую скорость в 410, 317, 306 и 89МB/s. В принципе товар меня удовлетворил. И не вижу, куда фото можно прикрепить. На АлиЭкспресс можно фотки к сообщению прикреплять.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
