Works as it should. Recommended.
Not quite plug and play. Fitted to my Ducati 749. Unplug the rear wheel speed sensor cable. The plug on the indicator cable is identical and just plugs into the original plug. That’s the easy bit. Need to then feed a cable through to the crank case sensor wire on the other side of the bike and tap into position 1 wire. Then find a switched live from somewhere and tap into that. I used the red wire in a white plastic multi plug that’s on the frame above the battery. I soldered all of my connections and didn’t use the rubbish plastic cable splices supplied. Setting up was easy on a paddock stand. As it reads of the speed sensor you don’t get a gear when stationary, so don’t rely on this to tell you what gear your in when at the lights etc.. quick to respond to gear changes and displays the correct gear. Just as good as a £200 indicator I would suggest. Threaded the display up through the headlight bucket and stuck it to the fairing mounts. Very pleased with it. If you need help with fitting it to a 749 get in touch through eBay messages I may be able to help. The instructions are pretty good so you shouldn’t have any issues. Easy job for a home mechanic to tackle.
