    Packs a punch

Alpine's newest amps are a bargain. They pack a lot of power in a little space. This mono amp is simple and easy to connect. Set screw type connections mean you don't need any spade, ring, etc. connectors in line. The speaker level connectors make this a great option for adding to a factory system (this is what I did). Just splice into speaker wires around the car. No need for RCA patch cables or a remote turn on lead if you use this connection method. The controls are easy to access. Everything works great in a neat little package.

    just ok sounding

I always use Fosgate Amps to drive my Subs...I tried this amp, but it doesn't hold a candle to my old RF Punch P400-2. I tried 2 ohm...switched to 4 ohm, sounds a little better..barely drives my 12" RF Sub. It will do as a temporary Amp. Lesson learned..I should have spent the extra $100 and stayed with a Fosgate Amp for my Sub. I can always put this amp in my kids car..she won't know the difference!..LOL

  • Best Amp for the bucks, BUY IT!

I was searching to replace my amp in my 1998 Honda Civic EX, 2 door coupe and I must say it is the best amp ever for the price, and the Power output. The amp has plenty of power and is able to push my one 12 inch woofer in an enclosed sub-woofer box with no problem. This Alpine will rumble your car and massage your back with every thump to the music. The size is so compact and small in size that can fit in just about any tight place but you will not regret the quality that Alpine is known for. I'm looking forward to purchasing another one of these Alpine MRV-M500 for my other car Honda Accord, 4 door.

  • Power!!!!

Great power, class D technology delivers efficient power without to much heat. I pound on this amp for two hours at max 500 RMS and it never over heats or goes into protect mode. Very clean sound. I bought the optional RUX-KNOB.2 and use the knob to remotely control the sound level from my drivers seat.

  • Small but powerful

I replaced a Rockford Fosagte P300-1 with this to power a JL W3 2ohm 12 in my Ecoboost Mustang. The Rockford pushed it okay but I'm able to turn the gain down on the Alpine and don't have to worry about over working the amp. I have owned other Alpine amps in the past and never had an issue with them. I usually only get rid of them to upgrade to more wattage. I would highly recommend this amp to anyone looking to purchase a small mono amp.

  • Big sound little amp

Ok so this is probably the best amp I've ever owned. I only paid around 137.00 for it. I have it running 2 ohm to my 4 ohm dvc Alpine type r 12" and it is killing it. In fact I had to turn the gain down to half. Will probably be getting another one and run 2 12" subs.

  • Awesome compact powerhouse!

Great amp, if you can find a used one for a good price it's a heck of a good buy. Have two of them, one for my 8" Alpine type R and one for a JL Audio W3V3 10" and handles them each with finesse.

  • Great amp

I have two in different vehicles, both work perfect, small size, easy to mount, looks nice, good price. Would buy again and reccomend anytime. Pushing 2x 12" JBL's in one set up and 1x shallow JBL 12" in another and both sound great. No need to go spend a ton of money on anything else- match your rms, wire at the correct ohm, it's that simple.

  • Alpine amps

I have not got them in use yet ! I can’t comment until I do this ! I do know that I have used Alpine brand and was happy ! That is why I got these ! You can’t make a decision about sound quality just with the amp ! Depends on the speakers and the acoustics that the speakers are in ! Then make adjustment on amp that will fine tune the quality of acoustics that speakers are in !
