Propreitary - Only works with Keurig cups and pods.
If you're wanting a Keurig you would be better off buying an older used model that allows you to use the hundreds of k cups out there that do not fit in the newer Keurig models. This greedy money grubbing company used technology to block all but their own brand. Not sure of the outcome but they have a huge lawsuit against them for this. Best Kuerig yet
This is my third Kuerig. The first one only lasted about six months. The second one did great but did not have the water reservoir. I love the stay hot feature on this one which you can disable simply by turning it off if you would like. Best money I invested. The best coffe maker one cup at the time , but is quick the process. The only bad thing I found wrong is that the price of the coffe, tea and cocoa are outrageus in price. The manufactor of Keurig should try to tell the company that make the litle cup of coffe to regulate the price to a flat price all around, if they dont want to do it dont give them authorization to make products for the keurig.
