Nice piece of kit, but...
Nice build quality, tested on my Denon Avr2808 when received, sound was crisp and loud, you need to push some watts to get something, next day fitted in the car on front doors(w203 Merc).. Results.. Awfully tiny sound, running on my double din aftermarket Kenwood H.U. .. I won't say they're bad, even if the car oem speackers sound better on this setup, just keep in mind that you do need an amplifier to run these.. Great replacement speakers
Fitted on my 2011 touran after an original speaker blew. I had to trim the adapters down a little to get them to fit and it does require some DIY confidence to replace speakers since you need to drill some holes. Sound quality is great, since it has a decent inbuilt tweeter already, it means there's a bit more middle than the standard vw units. I wish I'd used these when I added speakers to the back doors now, the ones I put at the back were slightly cheaper and a lot inferior.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice upgrade for my MR2
Fitted these in my MR2 turbo. Didn't need spacers but had to trim the door card. Well rounded sound but they seem to break up a little at high volumes. Wont be an issue, too loud.
