Awesome!
This is the second Vortex Viper I (PST & HST) own and absolutely love them. You can not find a better deal for the money period. I'm shooting out to 500 yards with no problem what so ever. The glass is super clear and the target knobs are very precise and accurate. The scope tracking is perfect up and down. The warranty is second to none! No receipts, no warranty card, don't matter who bought it, if it breaks they fix it no questions asked or they will send you a new one. THE ONLY REASON I SAID 500 YARDS IS THAT I RAN OUT OF REAL ESTATE LOL! I'm sure it will perform out past 1000 yards. One happy customer. What you waiting for? :)

Vortex viper hst reveiw
Took this scope out one time zeroed it. held zero all day handled the recoil of my .270 shot 100 rounds through it .the glass looks good I only shot it at 200 yrds due to the range the finish looks really good on it the turrets feel good. Couple days later I adjusted the elevation all the way up to count how much m.o.a it had and when I zeroed the scope back out with the zero stop shims installed the reticle was canted to the left I have contacted vortex and they said send it in they will take care of it witch is good but scares me to think I only used it once before somthing happendVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Scope
Purchased this scope for a 6.5 Grendel AR build. Scope was crystal clear even on full power. No, it isnt a Nightforce or Leupold, but this scope is definitely worth its price. Turrets were very positive. Zoom adjustment ring is stiff, but has a fiber optic marking and a slight click you can feel at 18x so you know you’re there if you want to use the reticle for ranging. Once I got out to 600 yards, I dialed it back to 100 to confirm zero, then back out to 600 and it did great!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Scope - Great Warranty
This is my first Vortex. I run Leupold and Nikon on most of my hunting rifles. A good friend had purchased a set of Vortex Binoculars and loved them. A great buy for the money
I plan to take a long range shooting course. In anticipation of taking the course I made a fairly intensive study of the scopes out there that would be acceptable. If you are looking in the $500 range this is the scope. Having visited several gun shops the Vortex scope kept coming up as a good scope for the money. Now that I have purchased one and mounted it on a Sako heavy barrel 243 it seems to me that it is a great match for the 243. The clarity is great. I like the shims to create the zero stop point and found it easy to follow the enclosed instructions for sighting in the scope and setting the zero stop. Having run about 50 rounds through it, it is my impression that I will be very satisfied with it.....I am already thinking about a 6.5 Creedwore and even better Vortex for the new rifle.
