Good clarity, broken turret after 2 range trips.
I purchased this for atop a new AR10 I built. It has very good Clarity for the price. After approximately 100 rounds, the windage adjustment turret snapped off at the bolt. Apparently this is a common issue and a little research online brings up many cases of this. I sent it back to Nikon because of their warranty. Nikon P308 Reticle BDC 4-12x40mm
Purchased this, P-308 scope for use on a Springfield M1A. Have not mounted or shot from this scope as of yet. I have used the P 223 model on two of my AR carbines with great success out to 100 yards with 1 MOA groupings. Optics are crystal clear and hold zero with no problems. Great scope for the money
I’ve only had it for a month or two but have done some extensive shooting with it already. Love the BDC and the lighting and clarity are good. The adjustments are just a little off, moving my left to right a smidge while adjusting for verticals but otherwise a great scope. Would recommend to others and purchase again.

Great scope would highly recommend to anyone needing a scope for a 308
Excellent lens quality, view is very crisp and easy to focus and adjust. Making windage and elevation adjustments is easy and the scope has a very positive feel with each click. Since I attached this to a 308 rifle the BDC rated for a 308 caliber should work out. Hard to beat nikon
Value per $ this is a steal. Scope is crystal clear and seems to gather light well enough for huntong at dusk/dawn, even at mid power. Not a fan boy of any particular mtg but have noticed that dollar for dollar Nikon is usually near the top for value and I have or have had other scopes from leupold (all levels), Nikon (this and monarch), Zeiss conquest, Burris (xtr, ff, mtac, prisms and veracity), vortex (viper & others), aimpoint, eotech, Posp, swarovski, nightforce, among others. Anyway, this scope has a nice reticle and tactile (& tactical) turrets. It's a clean design that is perfect for an ar10.
