This water filter system is the most versatile and can be installed in different models of the PUR system. I Love The Pure Water Filter!
I drink a lot of water and I love my Pure water filter! I couldn't live without it! Regular water from the tap to me taste like crap. But the water that comes out of the Pure water filter tastes great! The only downside is that I wish it would last a little longer before you had to replace the filter. But for great tasting water, you can't beat the price. It beats going out and buying bottled water, and will save you money in the long run, and is better for the environment not having all those bottles laying around. Excellent Filter!!!
Been using these for years and they do an awesome job of cleaning up my awful city water. Because I don't require the water fast, I'll use the filter long after the red light starts flashing. They will continue to work past the replacement reminder. All that is hindered is the flow of water. I used one once, for about 4 Months, until the water was just trickling out of it, LOL! Couldn't answer the question "easy to clean". Neither yes nor no are applicable. It is a disposable filter. These filters leave a pure, great taste in our well water. The water tastes good.Super easy to install and discard, and I am pretty sure it filters out more of the bad stuff than the competition. But bottom line: the water tastes good. I use it for drinking, coffee, and boiling anything that absorbs the water (think pasta, potatoes, etc.) because I want them to taste good, too.
