Sweet and Accurate
These HP50 headphone are accurate (they reproduce the frequencies it is given without coloring the response) but still sound sweet. That is something most headphone cannot do. They are also detailed in playing high frequencies without being shrill. I use them for working on audio (editing and mixing) and I'm not looking for another. I have both this and the PSB M4U 1 and consider them equal. They were designed by the same guy. The sound and comfort level are similar. Your choice is a matter of which one can be acquired for the best price. Extremely smooth sound with adequate bass. It's my opinion that headphones in similar price ranges are all good.
