Amazing little hoover! It is so easy to assemble, and easy to use. Emptying it is just a quick click of a button. This little machine couldn't be made simpler! I just love it. The suction on it is very impressive. It does a very good job at cleaning up mess on carpet, fluffy rugs and hard floor, without needing to fiddle with settings or adjustment pieces. I am really pleased with this machine. It has proved to be of a very good quality, and the low price was an absolute blessing! Small doesn't mean weak!
It's got a lot of suction for such a little machine & is brilliant on hard floors. The only downside is that it isn't really a carpet vacuum & doesn't catch all the hair on carpets. The cord could be a little longer. Having said all that, on the whole I'm very happy with my little Bissell it's a good name for a very good price. I'm a very happy shopper...... many thanks. Great vacuum, easy to deploy
The Bissell featherweight is a really useful addition to my household tools and I would not be without it. It really is light when used as an extended stick vacuum. Its effective and works on carpets and hard floors equally well. On carpets, simply push the vacuum away on the wheels at the back of the floor tool and pull towards you to remove dirt. Emptying is very easy. Resembling requires that you relocate the back catch first, then the front. Filters are washable...and they certainly get dirty in my house! The cable is long enough for quick jobs...and for anything else I always use an extension cable. The pick up is powerful. Two minor downsides. It's a little noisy...not terribly so but on such a small machine there is nowhere to put sound dampening. The second issue is that the handle pops off easily...but the floor tool, once used for vacuuming, requires a lot of strength to remove. I have tried lubricating it with silicone, but it hasn't helped. So the floor tool stays on...and that's not too bad a compromise.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Useful and reliable no-fuss cleaner.
This vacuum is noisy and the power lead is rather short. It is excellent on hard floors but not really suitable for carpets. It is good for stairs with an extension lead and gets into corners well. Easy to put together and simple to us
I love my Bissell 2024E Vacuum cleaner. It is easy to use and very compact. The only thing I would have liked on it was a roller on the bottom to help it glide across the carpet easier. I researched these small lightweight hoovers alot before I bought one. Have been using it for a week now and it's the best thing I've bought in ages!!!! It is so light and so easy to use, the suction is amazing. I have a long haired dog and it picks up all the hairs easily. If you have really thick pile carpet it won't work as the suction is so good that it wouldn't move! Brilliant on floors, rugs and my old carpet. Brilliant little hoover, light and easy to carry/ Previously had an old Dyson that was hard to lug around and didn't get to tiny specs like talcum powder. This hoover is so handy! Had purchased a reconditioned hoover from ebay but it didn't work so was a bit cautious ordering another, but this item has exceeded expectations! It doesn't hold a lot so you have to empty it a bit more frequently - that's the only issue but a small one compared to the products excellent efficiency!
